⚾ BUFFALO BISONS 2026: THE SEASON IN REVIEW ⚾
Rise Up Family Sports | Music Dreams USA Radio Worldwide
The 2026 Buffalo Bisons season is officially in the books — a year filled with challenges, development, a second-half playoff push, Major League opportunities and several standout performances.
Buffalo finished the season 68–79 overall, going 35–40 in the first half and 33–39 in the second half.
The first half was a battle for consistency, but when the standings reset, the Bisons made things interesting.
By late August, Buffalo had climbed to 28–23 in the second half and was only 3½ games out of first place, putting the Herd directly into the postseason conversation.
Unfortunately, the final weeks proved difficult. Buffalo went 5–16 over its final 21 games, ending its playoff hopes. But the final record doesn't tell the entire story of the 2026 Bisons.
Several players delivered outstanding seasons and earned recognition with the team's official year-end awards.

Kasevich was one of Buffalo's most consistent players, appearing in 130 games and finishing with a .282 batting average, 142 hits, 77 runs, 23 doubles and 47 RBI.
Tanner Andrews became a dominant bullpen weapon, going 5–0 with a 2.05 ERA and converting all 12 of his save opportunities before earning an opportunity with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Brendan Cellucci, Chad Dallas and other Bisons also made significant strides toward the Major Leagues, reminding everyone of one of Triple-A baseball's most important missions — developing tomorrow's big-league players.
The standings will officially record Buffalo at 68–79.
But we'll also remember a team that fought its way into the second-half race, gave Buffalo fans meaningful baseball late into the summer and helped another group of players move closer to their Major League dreams.
From all of us at Rise Up Family Sports and Music Dreams USA Radio Worldwide, congratulations to the Buffalo Bisons players, coaches, staff and fans on another season of baseball in Buffalo.
We'll see you in 2027!
